6th Annual Camarillo Marathon

Hundreds participated in the 6th Annual Camarillo Marathon at the crack of dawn on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Village At The Park Sports Complex in Camarillo. A half marathon, 10K and 5K were also part of this flat and fast course, which consisted of two loops around the Camarillo farmlands. The new course was well received by the runners.

Newbury Park High School Building an Eco Sustainable Garden

Westlake Regional Family Park & YMCA Event

On Saturday, September 20, 2014, the Westlake Regional Family Park & YMCA hosted an event at the project site on Thousand Oaks Blvd giving tours and watching Anne Romine throw the first pitch in the new baseball field dedicated to her son, Kenny, who was killed in March of this year.

TO Tree Advocates Fill City Council Meeting

Thousand Oaks residents came out to the city council meeting on Tuesday, May 13 to protest the removal of mature trees from the Westlake Plaza. Read more in this week’s Thousand Oaks Acorn article.

10th anniversary of Ahmanson Ranch celebration
