Firefighters battle house fire in Lake Sherwood

Firefighters from the Ventura County Fire Department responded to a structure fire on the 1600 block of Bushgrove Court in Lake Sherwood on Oct. 27. One person was injured in the fire and transported to a local hospital. It took 30 firefighters 35 minutes to knock down the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
