Students make pinwheels for peace

Students at Weathersfield Elementary in Thousand Oaks created pinwheels with messages of peace on one side and artistic expressions on the other and planted them on campus for the International Day of Peace on Sept. 21. Pinwheels for Peace is an international effort to help students express their feelings about war, peace, tolerance and harmony.
